Our Commitment to Web Accessibility

Community First Credit Union is committed to providing a fully accessible website experience for all users of assistive technologies, like screen reading software, screen enlargement software, and alternative keyboard input devices.

Our Standard

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Community First Credit Union is currently reviewing all areas of our web presence and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0, level AA standard on the content and interface of our sites. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone. Community First Credit Union periodically tests its sites using assistive technologies in order to ensure full compliance to WCAG 2.0 Level AA.

Where We’re Improving

In our efforts to bring our website up to standard, we are targeting the following areas:

  • 1.4.1: Use of Color
  • 1.4.3: Contrast (Minimum)
  • 2.4.1: Bypass Blocks
  • 2.4.4: Link Purpose (In Context)
